Ruby and Ellis are Mrs. Ruby Joyce Henry and Dr. Cleveland Ellis Henry, parents of the organization's founding member, Chandra A. Henry, M.D. Chandra is known affectionately in the establishment as "Dr. Chan." Dr. Chan's parents were educators in the Orange County Public School Systems of Central Florida for over 30 years each. They encouraged their daughter to excel academically with the famous Francis Bacon quote, "Knowledge is Power."

Dr. and Mrs. Henry wondered whether their only child would follow their footsteps in the field of education, but her interest in medicine seemed to drive her in a different direction. Finally, things have come full circle, and Dr. Chan has discovered a way to combine and express her own passion for teaching with her medical training. She named the corporation in tribute to her parents, and the lesson they imparted-that learning can make a difference.
